A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead at a home in Melbourne‘s western suburbs.
Emergency services were called to a house on Sutherland Avenue in Melton South at about 1:30pm on Monday.
A woman’s body was discovered inside the property.
A man has been taken into custody and is being questioned by police.

One local told the Herald Sun that they saw officers arrest a man who was ‘covered in blood’.
Police have cordoned off Sutherland Avenue and nearby roads.
